The emphasis is on participation of the deprived sections of society in development programmes and processes.

Primary Education

Primary education system in India suffers from dualism. On one hand there are glittering educational institutions for the people with enough resources, while there are dingy and mostly non-functional government primary schools, where children of lesser mortals study. Our emphasis is to improve educational scenario in these schools.

Female Foeticide

The number of declining women per 1,000 people (called sex ratio) is constantly declining in India. In Sitapur district sex ratio is 922 as against the national figure 933. Interventions are targeted at creating awareness among the masses to arrest the practice of selective killing of female foetus and improve declining sex ratio.

Maternal and Child Health

Infant and maternal mortality rates are still on a higher side in India as compared to developed countries. This is one of the greatest impediments in promotion of small families. The organisation is providing services for improving maternal and child health.
