5. Other Programmes

 

 

To bridge the gap prevailing in the society on social, religious and caste basis and to promote harmony, the following efforts were made:

Id Milan

The Sansthan organised a block level Id Milan in which apart from Muslims people from other castes too participated. All embraced each other with zeal, greeted each other on Id and thus feeling of social harmony and brotherhood was inculcated. Apart from this, the organisation’s workers gave Id greetings to the Muslim brothers.

Holi Milan

To promote social harmony and brotherhood Holi Milan was organised. Nearly 350 people participated. Apart from this, a Holi Milan was organised at Phulrua gram panchayat was organised under the chairmanship of Om Prakash Gupta, the local legislator. Pradhan, members, BDC members, other active women and men, kanishtha block Pramukh attended this ceremony. During the speeches and discussions, information was given on the bad customs in the society.

Ambedkar Jayanti

Ambedkar Jayanti was celebrated at the panchayat and tehsil level with community contribution. The organisational workers participated and discussed on the need to promote brotherhood. The speakers said that Ambedkar did not work for a caste group, but for entire society. He had said three words through which the society can carry forward their rights:

  1. Be educated

  2. Be organised for achieving rights

  3. Struggle after getting organised

Therefore, if we intend to develop our village/society, we will have to adopt these words.

New Year Greetings

New year greetings were sent to the people to build an image of the organisation among maximum number of people. These included pradhans, members, kshettra panchayat members, former pradhans, teachers, civic society leaders, prominent people of villages, district, tehsil and block level government officials, media persons and voluntary organisations.
